From the ground up

Greiner Construction was hired to perform Construction services for the Lakeview Health Clinic in Mahtomedi, a newly acquired division of HealthPartners. Formerly a bakery within the Wedgewood Village Shopping Center, the 7,031 square foot space was completely demolished and rebuilt from the ground up.

Scope of work
  • A beautiful reception/waiting room that has etched glass accents
  • 11 exam rooms that surround the 10 nurses stations
  • A blood draw area
  • A laboratory
  • An x-ray room that includes a changing room and enclosed control station
  • An employee break room

Partnering with the project team of HealthPartners, Lakeview Health, and Mohagen Hansen Architecture, Greiner Construction created exam rooms that are the new standard design that incorporates both HealthPartners and Lakeview Health into one. To ensure quality and meet the team’s expectations, Greiner coordinated site visits to the exam mock-up rooms at HealthPartners clinic in Arden Hills.

Partnering with qualified subcontractors is the key to a successful project. With the assistance of an outstanding electrician, electrical panels were relocated throughout the space and an audio alarm was installed at the nurse call station. In addition, Greiner coordinated with GE on the design of the radiology department and the installation of the equipment.

Luxury features
  • 3form Lumicor meadow-etched panels
  • Decorative wood film
  • Etched-tempered glass

By being involved in the project during the initial design phase and partnering with each member of the project team, Greiner was able to complete this clinic build out with luxury features within an aggressive 12 week timeframe.
