Greiner Construction was hired to perform Pre-Construction and Construction services for Stoel Rives workspace renovation located within the 33 South Sixth Street tower.

Envisioning a more collaborative open office approach, Stoel Rives, is proud to be the first law firm to have their own in-house “Pub”. The pub-inspired break room serves as the landmark gathering place in the office’s central core, which previously was unused and an undesirable space. The expansive pub features amenities including specialty flooring materials, tin ceiling, antiqued mirrored wall, custom tufted banquette seating, specialty coffee, wine and beer beverage center and a kegerator featuring ever changing locally sourced micro brews on tap. Radiating from the break room out, a contrasting color palette was used to unify the space, and create interest and texture.

Environmental initiatives throughout the design process were kept in mind. Sustainable carpet tiles were chosen, local wood flooring was sourced for the break room. Existing materials such as wood paneling and doors were salvaged and reused, and architectural infrastructure that still had importance in today’s legal workplace practice were kept.
