The Emery Hotel (formerly Hotel Minneapolis) is located in the Midland Bank Building, originally built in 1906. The property was converted to hotel use in 2008 by Hempel Properties. Currently, the Hotel Minneapolis has 222 luxury guestrooms.

Greiner Construction completed a renovation offering the hotel guests a re-concepted lobby and restaurant outlet, lobby coffee and cocktail bar, more than 4,7000 square feet of meeting and private dining space, a new and expanded fitness center, a ground floor concierge lounge, seven new guestrooms, and new finishes in the remaining guestrooms.
