Greiner provided pre-construction and construction services for Element Fleet Management’s 70,000-square-foot office relocation located at Excelsior Crossings in Hopkins, Minnesota.
Greiner’s pre-construction team provided continuous estimating and value engineering from schematic design through construction. The construction scope of work consisted of full demolition and gutting of the existing office space and building the new open office concept. Highlights of the new space include:
- Polished concrete floor
- Exposed ceiling with ACT clouds
- Installation of a feature staircase connecting the two floors
- Re-configuration and addition to existing MEP system.
Features of Element’s new office space include:
- Showcase lobby/staircase
- Collaborative areas
- Open and closed offices
- Conference/Huddle Rooms
- Kitchenette
- Restrooms
The biggest challenge for the project team was timing. Element needed to move out of their previous space by a specific date, and we were able to accommodate that even though there were delays due to design and owner decisions.
The Greiner team delivered Element Fleet with their new office on budget and on schedule. This happened even though the project start date was delayed due to conditions out of our control.
This project was delivered by the successful partnership of Jared Neiers and Paul Kreutzfeldt.
