Greiner Construction was hired by YouthLink and Project for Pride in Living (PPL) to be their integrated partner in their new development to support and empower young people on their journey to self-reliance. Greiner provided Pre-Construction and Construction services to renovate YouthLink’s existing center and construct a new addition of common space and supportive housing for the two non-profit organizations.
The five-story supportive housing scope of work included:
- A large community space
- Studio and one-bedroom apartments
- An addition of a career pathways center
- Laundry facilities
- Storage areas
- Fresh landscaping around the new courtyard
Renovation of the existing YouthLink business center included:
- The entrance area
- Several workspaces
- Multi-purpose areas
- Supply rooms
- A recording studio
- An art studio
- A flex space
The whole development is a total of 73,934 square feet and has a brick and fiber cement panel exterior.
