Greiner Construction is full-service commercial general contractor providing services to Companies and developers within Corporate Workplace, Private Education, Multi-Housing, Building Repurposing, Hospitality and Healthcare/Wellness in the Midwest looking for construction services that value relationships.
Responsibilities
- Participate in strategic business planning; developing strategic positioning plan for company and project pursuits to win work within the healthcare market
- Create and produce internal and external communications, marketing/branding/advertising materials and presentations specific to the healthcare market
- Coordinate prequalification efforts with targeted customers and partners
- Function as the liaison between business development, pre-construction, and marketing
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners including, but not limited to: targeted customers, design professionals, partner companies, community leaders, utilities, equipment manufacturers, and engineering firms
- Determine which organizations to collaborate with and establish relationships with small, women and minority businesses, unions, contractor and community-based organizations
- Become familiar with customer’s project estimates to facilitate discussion with customer
- Complete Request for Proposals with 100% accuracy and compliance with the owner’s specifications
- Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
- Attend and host healthcare community events and meetings Ability to lead and manage multiple projects of any size projects simultaneously inside construction settings
- Provide professional leadership in negotiation and problem resolution during the project
- Execute due diligence reviews of projects progress with internal and external parties
- Produce and execute project schedules with milestones and critical paths, coordinating with project teams.
- Perform accurate subcontractor and supplier scope analysis Accurately perform complete construction estimates and present to customers
Qualifications
- A 4-year degree or industry equivalency in architecture, engineering or construction is desired Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Must be team-oriented and flexible in assuming new responsibilities as they arise
